TELE 337 Creating the TV News Package Course is designed to prepare a Broadcast Journalism student for shooting, interviewing, logging, and editing news package material. Hands-on/lecture course provides an opportunity for the future reporter and video journalist to practice with his or her own material in the production of news stories for television. Stand-ups, interviews, voice-overs, sound bites, cut-aways, writing to video, and the use of the television medium to tell the journalistic story are hallmarks of this course.
